Hi I'm Rob, here's a little bit about me.

I live in Surrey, England with my lovely wife Gemma and two dudes called Jake and Connor, I was bought up in Cobham and I've lived in Surrey my whole life. I went to University in Roehampton, London and I studied Business. I've always been a keen sportsman and I still play basketball now (when my knees will allow me to!).

I photograph a number of sports, mainly focused on football where I cover all professional levels including Championship, Premier League, Champions League and international competition. I'm currently one of the most active basketball photographers in the UK, covering all levels from school/college up to the BBL and NBA. I also cover Superleague Netball, Rugby, Hockey and Motorsport. Away from sports, I also cover various events including University/College Balls, school events, Airshows and Children's Birthdays.

I also run the self titled YouTube channel; Rob Sambles. Focused on photography and film-making I try to offer simple, useful content to help photographers develop at all levels.
